We always hear that there is so much stuff to do outside around here, so on Saturday we went and checked out the Creeper Trail, in Damacus Virginia. It took about an hour to get there, but it was well worth the drive. It up in the mountains, so it was just beautiful. It is about a 40 mile round trip bike ride, but we took the cheater (and more popular) version and took a shuttle up the mountain and just rode the 20 miles back down.
It was a really easy ride, basically all down hill. I think I only had to pedal like 6 times all 20 miles.
Also, our good friends from BYU, Jeff and Lynn, moved here a couple of weeks ago. Jeff is going to grad school out here with Lance. But they live right next door to us, so it's been fun hanging out with them a lot and exploring our hometown together. So they also went on the trail with us. It was a great time had by all.

That's fun you have good friends living by you now! We bought bikes last spring and had a lot of fun with them too! It's been too hot to ride lately so we are looking forward to the cooler weather!
How fun! That is so cool that you live by Jeff and his wife! I am thinking about getting us some bikes too :)
You be careful on those trails young lady! I don't want to hear about any fractured ankles :). Ok I'm just jealous of you.
We are so into biking too right now, except we can't afford new bikes so we are practically riding huffy bikes from the 80's! I think its rad that you are being active even though you are prego!
